Food program subcommittee provides a forum for local health departments to compare and evaluate food program approaches and identify potential region-wide consistency in food program activities. Providing an opportunity to review each others' approaches to food programs encourages more standardization, consistency, and more unified movement toward implementing best practices.

  •        Collecting and comparing data from local health departments in areas including cottage food 

   operations, supplemental grilling permits, and mobile food vendor permits

  •        Current focus on temporary food events, identifying potential areas of regional collaboration
