Legislative Committee is responsible for drafting the NIPHC state legislative agenda that sets the framework for legislative and advocacy efforts of each fiscal year. The committee develops, identifies, evaluates, and/or monitors priority public health related bills that affect the health of the people of the Northern Illinois region.

• Collaborate and advocate on budget and legislative issues of interest to NIPHC 

• Serves as a legislative resource and partner with other local/state agencies and NIPHC board and committees

• Developing an annual state legislative agenda
